Optimized Separations for Faster Throughput

Many chromatographic separations have far more resolution than necessary to separate and integrate analytes of interest. Optimizing column dimensions and increasing flow rate can dramatically decrease run times while maintaining sufficient resolution. Thermo Fisher Scientific has developed a new line of Capillary Fast IC columns to facilitate separations up to 4 times faster than conventional columns. Dionex IonPac AS18-Fast Anion Exchange Column

The new Thermo Scientific Dionex IonPac AS18-Fast Capillary column offers the same selectivity as the analytical scale column, but with a reduced length of 150 mm and reduced i.d. of 0.4 mm. This column can separate the common inorganic anions in significantly less time. The capillary format offers the advantage of reduced eluent consumption, thereby lowering operating costs.

Dionex IonPac CS12A-5µm Capillary Cation-Exchange Column

The new Dionex IonPac CS12A-5µm Capillary columns offer the same selectivity as their analytical-scale counterparts, but offer the advantage of reduced eluent consumption, thereby lowering operating costs.  The smaller-diameter resin technology and reduced column length provide faster analysis time, reduced eluent consumption, and increased sensitivity.

Dionex IonSwift MAX-100 Capillary Monolithic Anion Exchange Column

Thermo Scientific Dionex IonSwift columns feature a new generation of separation media, which is uniquely designed and engineered for the separation of small molecules including organic acids and inorganic anions. The Dionex IonSwift™ MAX-100 is the first of a series of columns developed using monolith technology, and is designed to provide high-speed, high-resolution separations of organic acids and inorganic anions using a hydroxide gradient delivered by an Eluent Generator.

The unique monolith design provides:

Dionex CarboPac PA20 Capillary Carbohydrate Column

The Thermo Scientific Dionex CarboPac PA20 column line has been expanded to include a new 0.4 × 150 mm capillary column. As with all Dionex CarboPac PA20 columns, this new capillary format provides high-resolution separations of mono- and disaccharides with no need for derivatization. The Dionex CarboPac PA20, 0.4 × 150 mm format offers the additional advantages of higher mass sensitivity, lower required sample amounts, and significantly lower solvent use.
