The Proteomics Preconcentration LC Solution is ideally suited for the analysis of in-gel digested protein samples. A reversed-phase trap column is used for sample cleanup and preconcentration of the peptides. By concentrating the sample onto the trap column, conventional injection volumes can be made on nano LC columns.

In order to maximize the sample throughput and MS utilization when performing nano and capillary LC-MS/MS for peptide sequencing and protein identification, Dionex  recommends performing peptide preconcentration and separation on a parallel LC setup.

Proteomics Parallel LC

This parallel LC configuration includes two preconcentration nano LC setups for on-line sample cleanup.

Using the unique x2 dual-gradient technology, 2D-LC methods can be performed on a single system. Use the switching valves inside the NCS-3500 column compartment for on-line 2D-LC or combine the x2 dual-gradient technology with the micro fractionation option to perform off-line 2D-LC.
