IC Sample Preparation Solutions

Dionex Offers Solutions for IC Sample Preparation with AutoPrep and RFIC-ESP

AutoPrep is used to automatically prepare calibration curves and perform sample analysis. It is particularly useful for trace level applications. Using unique plumbing configurations and automated valve operations, AutoPrep simplifies trace analysis.

RFIC-ESP systems enable a range of automated sample preparation techniques which utilize proprietary electrolytic devices to provide reduced cost and higher value analyses.

RFIC-ESP devices and techniques can be used for removing cations from an anion sample before analysis by using Dionex CR-TC devices, or neutralizing a strongly acidic or basic solution—25% phosphoric acid or concentrated ammonium hydroxide solutions, for example—with an AutoNeutralization device. A new Electrolytic Water Purifier is available which provides water of extremely high purity (sub ppt level backgrounds are possible) for use in trace-level analytical work where concentrator loading is necessary.

Automatic Preparation for Trace Analysis

Dionex AutoPrep was developed to facilitate trace analysis by combining large volume sampling with automated standards preparation on a small sample loop. The use of μg/L standard concentrations with a 10 μL loop compared to a 10 mL sample loop permits easy emulation of trace level calibrations. This combination, simplifies trace analysis like never before.
